So close to being done with this term. So, so close. December 16th is my last day of classes, at which point I still have one commission to finish up and then WOO HOLIDAY.
In the meantime, I've been in hospital this past week and it was awful. Super super sick with a horrible stomach bug that just hit me exceptionally hard and they had to force fluids into me. Feeling a lot better now, but the worst part is now I have like two weeks of backlog of classwork to do that I didn't do while I was ill, so crunch time is even more... crunchy?

The Saga of KAK: The Court Hearing
I had already posted this on Facebook, but I realized there's a lot of you guys over here following this that might want an update... so.. ENJOY! :) :) :)
We arrived at court a little before 8am and found that the courtroom was teeny tiny - it could have held perhaps 30 people at maximum. There was a total of 10 of us there, we took up almost the entire right side of the room. it became obvious fairly quickly that Kim wasn't showing up in person, as there was only one other person in the courtroom for a different hearing.
Finally they call my name, I stand and am recognized and Kim speaks up... over the courtroom speaker. They allowed ther
A Desperate Cry For Help
As those of you that are followers of mine on Facebook know, I suffer from stage 4 Endometriosis. This passed Monday I had an elective historectomy to attempt to alleviate the pain and suffering that I have endured for years.
To put a long story short, the surgery went badly. The endo was worse than expected so they had to back out and instead of doing the surgery laparoscopically as intended, they had to make a 11 inch incision from hip to hip.
Shortly into the surgery I began losing a fair amount of blood. I had to have a transfusion.
My uterus was calcified - completely hard, and somehow my bladder had moved forward and down, so the t
You guys rock!
I am completely and absolutely overwhelmed with the outpouring of positive feedback and love I've gotten for my recent photography uploads. I seriously can't even begin to communicate how it feels to have so many people appreciate my work - stuff that I've mostly done for myself. I'm so happy that I've been able to reach out from my little corner of the world and touch so many people, if even for just a moment.
I've been trying to slowly go through and reply to all the people that have recently commented, and at the very least give out a llama to everyone kind enough to leave me a few words.
Crazy Life. Or maybe just crazy in general.
Things have been, as it says on the tin, a bit crazy. Between taking 20 (yes, that's not a typo - twenty!) credit hours of classes, and also trying to work on convention pieces, personal projects, and manage some other strange stuff that's been ongoing I've been so busy I feel like my head's spinning in circles.
My EuroFurence panel went very well - everything I sent, sold! How cool is that?! Pretty damn cool, if you ask me. I totally bought a new home for my amazingly assholeish bettafish, Ned, with the proceeds. He's very pleased to now have some wonderful pink- and black- gravel to dig around in while glaring at me and plot
